What is an EMDR Weekend Intensive?
An EMDR weekend intensive allows you to engage in therapy for a number of hours at a time over the course of a few days. This helps you make faster progress by focusing more time on healing, rather than just checking in or wrapping up during individual weekly sessions. Many people find they can work through issues more quickly and consequently achieve faster symptoms resolution.
What are the benefits of an EMDR Weekend Intensive?
- Faster results: You can make the kind of progress in a few days that might take months with weekly therapy.
- Cost-effective: Because intensives are focused and efficient, they may reduce the total time and money spent on therapy.
- More flexibility: You won’t need to fit in weekly sessions, and you’ll have more space to rest and recover without rushing back to daily life right after.
- Weekend Intensives allow you to focus on your healing without needs to take time off work or manage weekly responsibilities. This can reduce stress and create a more relaxed, uninterrupted space for deep therapeutic work.
